In the late 1970s Gary & I campaigned the Top Appaloosa in the Nation in the North American Trail Ride Association. We enjoyed that experience & enjoyed riding in many parts of this Great United States. We are again doing some of that (BUT JUST FOR FUN this time) when we are not judging. We are enjoying it very much with our special friends. You are always welcome to join us, so give us a holler if you want to go.

Well started in hunter under saddle, western pleasure, trail & showmanship. He has been trail rode, & our son Bill, a PRCA Roper, roped off him a little last year. Bill is a very accomplished roper & Topper's rope training was done right. In our opinion, however, Topper should be an all-around horse & if the with the right rider/trainer, Topper could do it ALL. He will definitely get halter points in Aged/Amateur/Youth halter classes. He needs to be perfected in his lope/canter. I have been riding him as much as I have time. He neck reins, opens & shuts gates, side passes, turns fore & hind & would be proficient in trail, horsemanship &/or hunt seat equitation very quickly.
