Well started in hunter under saddle, western pleasure, trail & showmanship. He has been trail rode, & our son Bill, a PRCA Roper, roped off him a little last year. Bill is a very accomplished roper & Topper's rope training was done right. (See Bill winning over $2,000 below) In our opinion, however, Topper should be an all-around horse & if with the right rider/trainer, Topper could do it ALL. He will definitely get halter points in Aged/Amateur/Youth halter classes. He needs to be perfected in his lope/canter. I have been riding him when I have time. He neck reins, opens & shuts gates, side passes, turns fore & hind & would be proficient in trail, horsemanship &/or hunt seat equitation very quickly. He has done some flying lead changes.
